YHACS considers climate change at the AGM

Posted on 18 February 2017 by Peter Cooper

Another successful YHACS AGM at Harrogate

The YHACS Annual General Meeting was held at Harrogate on 28th January 2017. Over 60 members and guests were present. After the formal business of the AGM, members heard an enthralling presentation on the evidence for climate change and global warming by Professor Emeritus Rick Battarbee of University College London. Following this presentation members were given the latest news from Civic Voice from their new chair, Joan Humble. The meeting concluded with the presentation of the YHACS/Peter Spawforth Excellence Awards and a round up of news from several YHACS societies. For a full account of this excellent meeting please see the minutes in the publications section of the website.
