YHACS Spring Event Sheffield

Join YHACS at The Circle Rockingham Lane Sheffield on Saturday, 23rd March for our latest quarterly networking event. Meet up with colleagues and catch up on all the latest news from Civic Voice and YHACS.

The event starts at 10.15am when Sarah James from Civic Voice will lead a session to introduce the principles of Building for Life 12, a methodology for assessing the quality of new housing schemes. At 11.30, there will be an opportunity to take part in a short guided walk of the city centre led by our hosts, Sheffield Civic Trust.

The afternoon session commences at 1.00pm and will include presentations and debate on the Government's Building Better, Building Beautiful Commission, led by Ian Harvey, Director of Civic Voice and a presentation from Rachel Walker, Project Manager, Don Catchment Rivers Trust, on bringing salmon back to local rivers.

The event concludes at 4pm.

There is no charge for admission but donations are welcome to cover the cost of teas and coffees.
